Hertfordshire Hedge Laying Competition
Hedge laying is an art and skill that, although not the most common, is still a very practical way of making a great farm boundary. King Charles is patron of the National Hedgelaying Association and even has been known to do a bit of hedgelaying!
The Hertfordshire Hedge Laying competition is usually held at the same time, on the same site as the county ploughing match and competitors challenge to win the Perpetual Dalgety Cup, prize card and cutting money.
If you have laid hedges before and are ready to compete then get in touch through the contact form. If you would like to learn about hedge laying then please also get in touch through the contact form but we will put you in touch with one of our experienced hedge layers who will point you in the right direction to learn.
